Sequence Layout Options
Overview and License Requirements
Light-O-Rama Store Sequences are created in two different layouts (a third layout is available on SD cards only). Our Traditional Layout contains sequencing effects for four standard 16 channel AC controllers, 4 channels of AC strobes, plus four sets of RGB flood lights (2 10W and 2 50W). These sequences do NOT contain any effects for smart RGB Props. You can purchase this version of sequence in two different formats: RTG {Ready to Go - Not Modifiable} or YCM {You Can Modify}. Traditional layout sequences require LOR S3.8.0 or higher to be used.
A new sequence layout, RGBPlus, was first released on October 1, 2022. Additional sequences will be released in 2023 and beyond. 5.6.0 Pro or above is required to use RGBPlus sequences. This sequence layout includes completely new or altered sequence effects for four full standard 16 channel AC controllers, 4 channels of strobes and two sets of RGB flood lights (one 10W and one 50W). The sequence layout also includes effects for eight Light-O-Rama singing faces, and the following smart pixel props: Snowflakes, Spinners, Candy Canes, Pixel Stakes, Arches, Mini Trees, Rooflines, Window Frames, 20x40 Matrix, 16x25 Pixel Tree + Topper, 16x50 Pixel Tree + Topper, and 32x50 Pixel Tree + Topper. All RGBPlus sequences come in modifiable format. Learn more about the layout by in the RGBPlus section of this page. Full use of an RGBPlus sequence with no modifications requires four networks (or an N4-G4-Director). Singing Face Standalone sequences were also first released on October 1, 2022. These sequences contain effects for 8 LOR Singing Faces (V1 4-Mouth and V2 10-Mouth). These sequences do not require the purchase of any other sequence for use. They can be manually copied into your own sequence or our Traditional YCM sequences, but are not mergeable into Traditional Layout RTGs. If you purchase an RGBPlus sequence, you do NOT need to purchase a Singing Face Standalone sequence - singing face sequencing is included in all of our RGBPlus Layout shows. Version 5.3.0 Advanced or higher is required in order to use Singing Face Standalone Sequences.

Our traditional layout sequences require that you are using S3.8.0 or higher. There are two types of sequences available:
Ready To Go ($24.99): No changes are allowed to the sequence, but you can add this sequence to your playlist on a computer or SD card. You are purchasing a fully functioning light sequence based on the layout below. You cannot add, change or remove any of the light patterns on any channels.
You Can Modify ($49.99): Change anything in the sequence, duplicate the AC channel sequencing (if you have more than 4 controllers), or add in your own custom prop and sequencing. You have full control of modifying the sequence to your unique environment including remapping the channels, adding or deleting channels as well as total access to changing the light patterns of each channel.

The first collection of our new RGBPlus sequences will be released this October. RGBPlus sequences require that you are using LOR S5.6.0 or higher at the Pro level to take advantage of any smart pixel effects. Our new sequences include effects for the following pixel props:

RGBPlus Sequence Format and Cost ($74.99)
Instead of having to pay nearly $150.00 to add in 13 hypothetical “Motion Paks" to an RTG or YCM sequence you already own, we are discontinuing creation of Motion Paks this October and creating one, already combined, modifiable, RGBPlus sequence file for each song that includes ALL of the effects for the new pixel props PLUS new or altered sequencing for the AC Controllers and Floods for only $74.99 each. There will no longer be a need to purchase a new Motion Pak every time you add more smart pixel props to your display.
Traditional sequences will still be available for purchase (RTG and YCM) that do not include any smart RGB elements for every sequence that also has an RGBPlus version.
This new sequence layout version will include sequencing for the props in all of the new CPC Packages (Coro+Pixels+Controller), Singing Faces, plus four full AC controllers, 4 channels of strobes, and 16 RGB flood lights. Effects for AC Controllers and floods have either been completely redone or altered to account for the inclusion of smart RGB Props in the layout. The RGBPlus layout is not considered a direct upgrade for RTG and YCM sequences. It is on a different layout and contains different effects.
Traditional sequences will still be available for purchase (RTG and YCM) that do not include any smart RGB elements for every sequence that also has an RGBPlus version.

Motion Paks (Singing Faces and 16x25 Pixel Tree)
Motion Paks will no longer be available for purchase after October 2022. All RGBPlus sequences will include both Singing Face and 16x25 Pixel Tree sequencing. Pixel Tree Motion Paks will be removed from our store on October 15, 2022. Singing Face Motion Paks will be removed from our store after October 31, 2022.
Singing Face standalone sequences will be available this fall that can be copy/pasted into YCM (You Can Modify) sequences or your own custom sequences, but cannot be added to RTG (Ready to Go) sequences. 16x25 Pixel Tree sequences will not be available standalone; new sequencing for 16x25 trees has been added in each RGBPlus sequence.
Previously purchased Motion Paks can still be used and merged into existing RTG or YCM sequences in S5. Motion Pak merging is NOT supported in S6.
Original Motion Pak effects for the 16x25 pixel tree, 16x50 Pixel Tree and Singing Faces have been completely redone or modified in the new RGBPlus sequences in order to unify the color and effect theme across all pixel props. No discounts towards RGBPlus sequences are offered for previously purchased Motion Paks.
Audio Files
Light-O-Rama does not supply music with most sequences, but we do provide a link to Amazon.com to purchase the music legally and have it officially licensed to you. If you plan to use this music and sequence in a commercial environment, you will need to make sure you have an active license through one of the licensing agencies in the USA (example: ASCAP, BMI, etc.)
If your sequence uses royalty free music you'll typically see RFM in the name and it is emphasized in the sequence description in our sequence store. This means Light-O-Rama has taken care of the licensing requirements for you. The music file is included with your sequence so there is no need to purchase the music from Amazon.com. Please keep in mind we have arranged for the royalty free music to be licensed only to you so copying the music file to share with others is not allowed.
Many songs available on-line come in different versions so we include in the sequence description the exact length of the music. If your sequence is expecting music that's 2 minutes and 45 seconds, things aren't going to look right if the music you chose is 2 minutes and 48 seconds. The music must be the same duration as the sequence.
Refund Policy
Refunds are not available for 'Ready to Go,' 'You Can Modify,' Motion Pak, Standalone Singing Face, or RGBPlus sequences once they have been downloaded to your computer since they are digital files. (Our system shows us if you've downloaded a sequence or not from your purchase.) If you mistakenly ordered a sequence and have NOT downloaded the file, please contact the helpdesk IMMEDIATELY and include your order number for information about a refund.
